Event Overview:
It’s time for one of our favorite traditions of the year—our Annual OCHS Book Sale!
We’ll be offering a wide selection of new and used books, including titles on local history, genealogy, South Carolina studies, military history, preservation, and more. Many of these books are part of our regular shop selection, along with additional donated titles and duplicate volumes from our collections. Whether you’re researching your family, exploring Orangeburg’s past, or simply enjoy a good historical read, there’s something here for everyone.
This year’s sale also includes items perfect for Christmas gifts, such as our OCHS notecards and ornaments. These make meaningful presents while supporting the Society’s mission.
Last year’s sale brought in a wonderful crowd, and we look forward to another great turnout this year. It’s a perfect opportunity to support the Society, pick up unique gifts, and add to your own library.
Visitors will also be able to sign up for or renew their membership to the Orangeburg County Historical Society during the event.
